Role overview
The Institutional Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with institutional clients, including custodians, asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions. Reporting directly to the CRO, this role will focus on driving adoption of Colossus Digital’s the Institutional Hub, while ensuring a seamless client experience.
This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and institutional finance, as well as exceptional sales and relationship management skills.
Responsibilities
Client acquisition and relationship management
Identify and engage institutional clients, including custodians, asset managers, banks, and VCs.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering trust.
Sales strategy and execution
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Drive adoption of Colossus Digital’s solutions and the Institutional Hub.
Collaborate with the CRO to identify new market opportunities and refine sales approaches.
Product expertise and customization
Serve as a product expert, articulating the value of Colossus Digital’s offerings to clients.
Work closely with clients to customize solutions, including staking and governance services, to meet their specific needs.
Market research and insights
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the digital asset space.
Provide feedback to internal teams to inform product development and strategy.
Cross-functional collaboration
Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Contribute to the development of sales materials, presentations, and campaigns.
Networking and industry engagement
Represent Colossus Digital at industry events, conferences, and webinars to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Leverage professional networks to identify and engage potential clients.
Requirements
Experience
5+ years of experience in institutional sales, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or digital assets.
Proven track record of originating and closing deals with institutional clients.
Knowledge
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and staking infrastructure.
Familiarity with institutional finance and the needs of clients such as custodians, asset managers, and banks.
Skills
Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and close deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a client-centric approach.
